Flood Ark

Working in Partnership with Leading Organisations

Over the past decade we have proven that our system can not only withstand the demands of leading test facilities but also that, when faced with real life flood scenarios, it is capable of offering protection to homes and businesses around the country. It is this proven effectiveness that has seen us develop excellent working relationships with both the Environment Agency and a number of large water companies. We therefore have the experience of training, monitoring and managing installers for civil engineering companies, allowing our system to be successfully installed in their customers’ homes.

Collaborating with the Environment Agency

Collaborating with the Environment Agency

The Environment Agency strongly recommends that, wherever possible, Kitemark accredited flood protection products are used to protect property. Having held the Kitemark accreditation since 2004 and now being awarded the latest 2014 version of the standard, we have been collaborating on schemes with the Environment Agency for more than a decade now. In that time, we have worked alongside their chosen civil engineering companies and delivered our flood barriers to help in the protection of domestic, commercial and public sector properties.

Working in Partnership with Water Companies

Every year water companies have a responsibility to reduce the number of people whose properties have flooded as a result of flooding from sewers. This will often be achieved through a combination of major capital sewer improvement projects and individual property level protection. Having successfully demonstrated that our system is not only effective in protecting properties from flooding, but also usable by people of all ages, we have worked closely with Asset Management Programme partners for:

  • Thames Water
  • Wessex Water
  • Severn Trent Water
  • States of Jersey
  • Southern Water
  • Anglian Water
  • Northumbrian Water
